'An excellent week. It is hard to find words to describe our holiday. A lovely cottage with everything we needed. People in Ingleton were really friendly. A superb base, we went west to the lakes, north into the Dales and East. Perhaps the best thing to say is that there are still so many things to do and places to visit we would love to return. Our abiding memory will probably be sitting in the garden, enjoying the sun, sipping a glass of something cool and watching the river.'
